<p><b>Job description</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Summary: </b>The Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing and financial reporting for construction projects. This includes the preparation &amp; Verification of client bills, sub-contractor bills, preparation of zero budgets, budget monitoring ,varaiations, reconcilation of bills and materials.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br></p><ol><li>Prepare and analyze zero budget for project.</li><li>Preparation of client bills &amp; Getting them certified by client and follow up for payments.</li><li>Monitor project budgets and expenditures.</li><li>Evaluate sub-contractor proposals .</li><li>Preparatio of subcontractor bills &amp; Certification by client.</li><li>Measure and value work done on-site.</li><li>Reconciliation of client v/s sub-contractor bills.</li><li>Reconciliation of major materials like cement/steel/diesel etc.</li><li>Price variations/Extra Items/Rate Analysis for new items.</li><li>Documentation of Bills/Variations/Reconcilitions/Drawings</li><li>Quantification as per drawings.</li><li>Prepartion of BBS/Quantiies etc.</li><li>Strong communication skills, client &amp; sub-contractor handling &amp; undrstanding of contract is a pre-requisite.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p><br></p><p>Diploma/Degree in civil engineering or related field.</p><p>5-10 years of experience in construction projects.</p><p><br></p><p>Strong understanding od billing processes, contract management, and project cost control.</p><p><br></p><p>Proficiency in billing software/Autocad/MS office.</p><p><br></p><p>Excellent commercial &amp; analytical skills and attention to detail.</p><p><br></p><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience in large-scale construction projects.</p><p><br></p><p>Knowledge of construction standards and regulations.</p><p>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</p>
